HI, I'M BELINDA O'DEA.
I created Sacred Women's Journeys to honour the complexity of all that it means to be a woman.
I guide women through the deaths of self, the dark nights, the unravellings, the necessary and painful endings, back to the ground of who they are. I know this territory because I have crossed it many times. The gifts I share are the ones that restore me again and again.
Yoga is my way of life, not just something I practice. Gestalt Therapy has made the biggest difference to my own understanding of who I am and what I do. Now I offer it to you.
Yoga and Gestalt Therapy share the same premise. Developing awareness. Returning to wholeness. Feeling connected to ourselves, to each other and to something greater. Learning to be compassionate with ‘what is’.
This work is transformational. Direct. Present. Trauma-informed. Rooted in more than thirty years of spiritual and contemplative practice. And focused completely on you and your needs.
Women come to me when they are finally ready to stop abandoning themselves and want support to start choosing something different.

Many women come here when what used to work no longer does. When the life they have built no longer feels like theirs. When they have been holding everything together for so long they have lost touch with themselves.

Not knowing where to begin is a completely valid place to start. You do not need to have the words for what you are experiencing. You just need to be willing to begin.
Like anything meaningful that lasts, this work is not a quick fix. It is a gradual return to centre. As awareness grows and the relationship with yourself deepens, clarity, steadiness and a renewed sense of self begin to emerge naturally.
